What Makes That 'Popping' Sound.

When your joint is restricted, you feel tightness, loss of motion and even pain.  When we provide an adjustment (HVLA) it expands the joint just beyond its normal capacity which creates the gas bubble inside the joint.  It is the popping of that bubble that we hear.  It is not necessary to hear a 'pop' when receiving an adjustment.  But when we do, the gas is quickly dissolved back into the joint fluid and the motion is restored.

Don't wait for your joints to become painful or tight.  Call our office to schedule your chiropractic check up and make sure you are well adjusted.
